Then using the built in SP2010 doc converted would convert the page with images very nicely. Open the images location in windows explorer, paste over all the images, then what I did in Word 2007, was select the image, right click it and select change picture and point it to the sharepoint images dir, and select the image and do a link and insert. this extracts all the images into a folder, navigate on sharepoint to where site I want to create the page, Basically What I do is, save the docx as a web page, filtered. I haveįound a couple blogs that describe how this can be done with a bit of elbow grease. I feel like their RD needs a massive overhaul and maybe get everyday user involved in the process of designing their next Office products. and as research has shown MS did this by Design. Web page, instead leave dead blank placeholders. As alot of you may have discovered that the built in Document coverter of SP2010 doesn't automatically convert images to a images location and link them to the converted I have had to come up with a way to convert documents (word docs) to Sharepoint web pages. As many here it's layout and colorless style is very boring and blah, but beyond that is the little bugs that are driving me crazy! I have recently moved users over to Office 2013.
